Video Production Level 1  (Middle - High School Students)

Date: 3/22, 3/29, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26

Time: Tuesday, 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Students will learn the fundamentals of video creation from concept through production, discuss practical applications of video, create their own short film, learn about current local and international youth film festivals and jump start their studies in video and multimedia production. The class is designed for a range of abilities and no previous knowledge of video production is required.

 

Video Production Level 2  (Middle - High School Students)

Date: 3/22, 3/29, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26

Time: Tuesday, 7 - 9 pm

Video Production Level 2 is designed for students who have shown a serious interest in filmmaking. The class will mold around individual student projects and group critiques while everyone will be exposed to fundamental film theory and more advanced production techniques using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.

This is an excellent course for students interested in creating promotional videos, college application portfolios, or starting a youtube or livestream channel. Any student with a passion for visual storytelling and a basic understanding of video production will love this course. Students will be expected to work on their individual projects as well as any assigned films or reading outside of class.
