Program Detail:

Playful creativity guides students through this course as they utilize physics and geometry concepts and spacial awareness. Breaking away from a traditional classroom environment, Blaze Lab is the perfect place for budding builders, makers and tinkerers.

Students design, create, prototype, test, and manipulate by learning Computer Aided Design (CAD) to print 3D models. Throughout the process, students learn the fundamentals of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) critical for professional 3D manufacturing. By designing and printing progressively more complex models, students learn the capabilities and limitations of FDM 3D printing technology and learn design principles to apply when creating objects for additive manufacturing.
