Create and innovate 3D products and electronics. Integrate electronics into 3D Modeling & Printing as you dig deeper and expand your knowledge on Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM).

Program Detail:

This course builds on student’s prior knowledge of 3D printing, modeling and design. Kids and teens utilize geometry, physics, and creativity to engineer innovative 3D models that are brought to life through motorized mobility!

Bring your 3D models to life by integrating electronic engineering with your creations! This course advances student’s prior knowledge of 3D design and printing through more challenging projects with deconstructable parts and mobile designs. 3D design and printing modules teach students how to design and print multi-part assemblies and incorporate movable components into their designs. Electronics modules integrate basic electronic programming and engineering as students learn to use a microcontroller and build circuitry. Ultimately, students will command their motorized models and will love bringing their 3D creations to life!

Parents, please note that this camp requires prior completion of Blaze Education’s Introduction to 3D Modeling & Printing class or camp. Or, equivalent experience with Autodesk® Tinkercad™ and FDM 3D printing. We encourage you to speak with a staff member if you have any questions about your student's skill level.
