Who says one camp can't have it all? During this two-week program, students will focus on building essential academic skills in writing and public speaking. We'll pair this intensive curriculum with an afternoon of exciting, hands-on projects in our STEM Learning Lab. This camp features:

  • Specialized instructors for each subject
  • IEW Student Writing Handbook
  • STEM Lab Projects
  • Extended care until 5PM

Writing is an essential skill that many students often fail to develop in school due to large class sizes, limited teacher feedback and language barriers. Capped at just 10 students per class, this intensive camp will help your child gain the skills they need to succeed in English Language Arts classes and standardized exams such as the PSAT, SAT and ACT.

Using the proven IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing) methodology, students will learn to adopt a systematic approach to writing academic assignments, advancing incrementally from quality sentences to complete paragraphs and essays. Even the most stubborn of writers will succeed with this proven, results-focused writing and speaking system.  With more than 15 years of dedicated teaching in writing, our instructors will help students develop confidence in the writing process, while gradually guiding them towards greater independence and creativity.

Busy summer schedule? Our half-day writing and speech program is available in the mornings or afternoons.
